The Cluj-Napoca Central University Library launched an international competition for solutions for a new book depository. Located in the continuation of the existing buildings, with a real architectural value, our proposal wanted to be as neutral as possible in terms of visual impact on the existing built stock, while ensuring all the requirements requested by the BCU. The facades made entirely of translucent glass profiles provide both a uniform light inside and a unique image of the building from the outside.
