Located on the site of the city’s former mill, the office building tried to preserve some architectural elements of the former building, using exposed brick and the rhythm of the old voids for the volume facing the Mill Canal. The beneficiary succeeded in purchasing and authorizing this building due to the authorities’ lack of interest in rehabilitating the former mill. The project proposed a building with several volumes treated differently in materiality, using ventilated facades with ceramic cladding alongside curtain facades and exposed brick.
