NEW BUILDING USED AS BOOK DEPOSIT FOR BCU CLUJ-NAPOCA

The Cluj-Napoca Central University Library has launched an international competition for a new book deposit. Located in the continuation of the existing building – with a real architectural value, our proposal wanted to be as neutral as possible from the visual impact of the existing building, while ensuring all the requirements demanded by BCU. The facades made entirely of translucent glass profiles offers both a uniform interior light and an unprecedented image of the building from the outside.
